Robyn Wilkes 
Head of Margaret Mayo Womens College and Mayos North Townhouses
Robyn Wilkes is one of two owners and the Head of Margaret Mayo Womens
College and Mayo North townhouses.
She has a degree with a triple major in Psychology, with a special interest
in social psychology. She is also a qualified auditor under ASA 1400
Environmental Management Systems. Robyn is one of the most experienced
Heads of student accommodation in Australia.
From 1983 to 1987 Robyn was a popular student Housing Officer at Macquarie
University in Sydney. From 1988-2005 Robyn managed 750 student accommodation
beds at the University of Wollongong. These beds were almost always 100%
occupied, student satisfaction levels were at record levels and the accommodation
she managed was in profit. By 2005 when she retired from the University
of Wollongong, Robyn has 23 years full time experience managing University
accommodation for students.
Her expertise is often called upon as a consultant for other Universities
wanting to improve their services to students.
In 2005 Robyn was awarded a Life Membership of the Association of Heads
of Australian University and Colleges Incorporated, the pre-eminent national
association for all Heads of student accommodation.
This award was recognition for her decades of service to students, student
accommodation and the Association. She held the following Executive positions
with AHAUCI
- Treasurer (2 terms)
- President (2 terms)
- Public Officer (2 terms) and
- Representative on the Tax Industry
